An education is needed to be a citizen, because citizenship is all about helping your country. With a degree you can help the country by teaching other people as a teacher, increasing technology, designing homes; architecture; etc. in 200 not many people knew how to use technology, not many had a phone either. However thanks to our research our technology has improve, now we have touch screen phones and laptops, we even have tablets. Many would say education is not needed because there are many people that help the community such as construction workers who are the ones that build homes. However without and architecture it can't be made because there is math that is needed to know and knowledge on the material that is used; whether it would hold a certain weight or how tall it can be made without falling.
